Wonderful location
The beach is miles long and very wide. It stretches from the mouth of the Mondego River ‘till the fishing village of Buarcos. At Buarcos you will find the Cabo Mondego, a limestone rock with a lighthouse. Northwest of Cabo Mondego is a ridge, named Serra da Boa Viagem. From the highest point, the Alto da Bandeira (258 meters) you have a fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean.
